Resulting in climate unsures survey as rainfall, air temperature, air humidity, wind speed and direction of Tomohon, obtained from BMG Manado.

Rainfall

Monthly average rainfall description during the year of 1993-2004 surveyed by Tondano Geophysics and Meteorology Station, shows that the first rainfall was happened on April and second maximum was happened on November as 245 mm. Even minimum rainfall was happened on August as 98 mm. Based on Oldeman climate map, Tomohon and its surroundings belonging to D1 climate type.

Air Temperature

Variation of monthly average air temperature on each month during the years is relatively small. Monthly average air temperatur becoming maximum on July's and Monthly average air temperatur becoming maximum on January's. Variation of monthly average air temperatur change on 22.02°C at January until 22.8°C.

Air Humidity

Tomohon air humidity arrangement on each month is high enough although on dry season. Air humidity on July, August and September is more high than 80%, therefore means on that months have high enough value of water evaporate.

Wind Speed and Direction

Wind speed and direction condition represents in form of wind rose that showing direction and wind speed distribution (%).Direction and wind speed frequency distribution on December and January dominant by puff of west wind from 11 km/hour until higher than 2 km/hour of speed with 2%-33% of whirlwind and north wind with 2%-37% of whirlwind. On February, March, and April are dominating by north wind with 2%-37% of whirlwind, while May until October are dominating by south wind with 2%-50% of whirlwind. On Juni, Juli and August blow high enough of south wind speed. On November high enough of west wind speed and also the south and north wind. The average rate of wind speed is between 0.5 km/hour until 36 km/hour.
